چکیده
In this paper we find some bounds for the relative generalized Hamming weights of some codes parameterized by a set of monomials of the same degree. Also we compare the relative generalized Hamming weights of the codes CX(d) and CX′(d) when X ′ is embedded in X. We use these results to obtain some lower bounds for the relative generalized Hamming weights of the codes parameterized by the edges of any connected bipartite graph with bipartition (V1, V2) and where |V1| = n1, |V2| = n2, in terms of the relative generalized Hamming weights of the codes associated to the projective tori Tn1−1 and Tn2−1.

The second generalized Hamming weight of some evaluation codes arising from a projective torus
In this paper we find the second generalized Hamming weight of some evaluation codes arising from a projective torus, and it allows to compute the second generalized Hamming weight of the codes parameterized by the edges of any complete bipartite graph. Also, at the beginning, we obtain some results about the generalized Hamming weights of some evaluation codes arising from a complete intersect...
متن کاملRelative generalized Hamming weights of cyclic codes
Abstract. Relative generalized Hamming weights (RGHWs) of a linear code respect to a linear subcode determine the security of the linear ramp secret sharing scheme based on the code. They can be used to express the information leakage of the secret when some keepers of shares are corrupted. Cyclic codes are an interesting type of linear codes and have wide applications in communication and stor...
متن کاملHigher Hamming weights for locally recoverable codes on algebraic curves
We study the locally recoverable codes on algebraic curves. In the first part of this article, we provide a bound of generalized Hamming weight of these codes. Whereas in the second part, we propose a new family of algebraic geometric LRC codes, that are LRC codes from Norm-Trace curve. Finally, using some properties of Hermitian codes, we improve the bounds of distance proposed in [1] for some...
متن کاملOn the generalized Hamming weights of convolutional codes
Motivated by applications in cryptology, Wei (1991) introduced the concept of a generalized Hamming weight for a linear block code. In this correspondence, we define generalized Hamming weights for the class of convolutional codes and we derive several of their basic properties. By restricting to convolutional codes having a generator matrix G(D) with bounded Kronecker indices we are able to de...
متن کاملFlags of almost affine codes
We describe a two-party wire-tap channel of type II in the framework of almost affine codes. Its cryptological performance is related to some relative profiles of a pair of almost affine codes. These profiles are analogues of relative generalized Hamming weights in the linear case.
